The main object of the given report is the forecast of iron ore market movement in the coming year, in general, and export prices of Ukrainian producers, in particular. The report is published every year in November that allows Ukrainian iron ore producers and exporters to optimize their production plans for the next year.

The forecast is based on analysis and forecasting of fundamental factors of market development such as steel and pig iron production in the world, a balance of iron ore supply and demand in the world, mining capacities utilization, spot market and ocean freight development etc.

The development of a competitive environment in traditional markets of Ukrainian export is analyzed in details. Comparative analysis of product quality of producers from different countries is carried out and, on this base and considering logistics issues, the level of competitive prices for different Ukrainian products is estimated for the markets of certain countries.
